Listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, It is the habitat for 6 species of endemic palm, including the famous "Coco de mer" which is growing to a height of 25–34 m (82–112 ft). Its leaves have huge proportions : 7–10 m (23–33 ft) long and 4.5 m (15 ft) wide. (May Valley, Praslin Island, Seychelles)
