    Edit Photo Details The Great Migration   #africa #nature #wild #animal #untamed #serengetinationalpark #wildebeestcrossing
We were fortunate to witness several migration river crossings, but this particular one was an especially overwhelming herd - in number, sound and even smell. What began as one line of crossing eventually became four as the fast current pushed the wildebeest swimmers downriver (and away from the waiting crocodiles). In the furthest line on the opposite shore, I caught a wildebeest airborne in the leap from river edge into waiting water.
