I feel fortunate to have been able to witness the Transit of Venus. For me, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I had only heard about the transit a couple of months before it happened. For others this would be their second and final opportunity. The Transit of Venus had occurred 8 years earlier. This transit on June 5th 2012 was the last one to occur in our life times. The next Transit of Venus will not happen again until 2117 and then again eight years later in 2125. Use Solar Filters.
