I was able to make my way to the “Path of Totality” in Redding California for this total eclipse. If you are able to be in this path, you then witness the “Ring of Fire.” This is when the moon is directly in front of the sun during the maximum eclipse. This reminds me of my favorite movie “Lord of the Rings.” This image is a composite built in photoshop. This is not an in camera multiple exposure. These five images were taken over a period of one hour and eight minutes. Use solar filters.
