this photo was taken in goreme, turkey in november of 2013. the woman did not speak english but using a series of creative hand gestures i conveyed my desire and the woman allowed me to take a few shots. to me, her face tells the story of someone who has worked hard for all of her years, has lived a simple and yet complete life, and who still has much wisdom to share with those who are willing to listen.
