In 15 years of photography, and countless places, nothing can come close to rivaling the magnificence of an African Sunset. The golden light, turning to a deep red is just impossible to describe. This evening we knew the lechwe were in the open plains, all we needed to do was get in position. We positioned the herd between us and the sun and just waited. The herd was moving quite a bit which created the amazing mood with dust kicking up everywhere. I laid flat on my belly for the best angle.
