    Reported by:

A female Harrier hawk is teaching her young how to hunt, she catches the mouse and the youngster comes in looking for a handout. I have witnessed this scene many times but until this day I was not able to capture the action. They were all ways too far away or the light was bad or I simply did not have my cameras with me. On this day however it all came together for me, perfect light, camera at the ready and the action unfolding right in front of me.
