    While hiking a forest trail on the Northern Oregon coastline, I suddenly came upon a patch of wild Iris's growing randomly among the forest flora. Much smaller and delicate that their domesticated counterparts, these fragile flowers added bursts of color to the lush green of the ferns and moss car
