Oak Tree ‘Joseph’ Large Branches
The oldest oak tree in Sierakow Commune (Marianowo village) is named ‘Joseph’ in memory of Joseph Chwirot, the famous forester honored as a man of merit. It is 840 cm in circumference (OP3DB5 - symbol for this protected oak). There is a historic seeds dehulling manufacture from pine cones in the immediate vicinity of this nature monument. Both the educational path ‘Marianowka’ and the tourist yellow walking trail run through this place in the Promotional Notecka Forest Complex.
