A male of Eurasia house sparrow
Once abundant in our country cities and townlets Eurasia house sparrows (Passer domesticus domesticus) suffer from new economic development. Their natural nesting habitat is rocks, which were in urbanised areas sucessfully replaced by houses with crevices and fissures in plaster and among stones or bricks. Yet now people want to have their building smooth and nice and have money to repair them and so suitable nesting places are scarce.
