    Reported by:

Bald eagles are common in Comox, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island. A group congregated regularly at this location on the Comox Estuary while I was visiting. They may have been scavenging urban leftovers. A large number of seagulls was also present. When an eagle made an approach, the gulls scattered. This eagle was striking at something in the grass. Panning with the eagle added motion blur to the background while keeping the eagle fairly sharp. Hand held.
