This female Eggfly butterfly had somehow entered the house during the monsoon. It stayed for days on the ceiling , barely moving .Then one day,I found it sitting on the sofa cushions. Gently, I picked it up and placed it on my palm. It did not fly away.Quietly it sat there.My camera was nearby. I clicked some pictures and then put it it back on the cushion. Three days later i came back from school to find it lying dead near the foot of the sofa.I had no choice but to throw its dead body away.
