    Intimacy doesn't only come from a person's face. It comes from something much deeper than that. It emerges from presence and awareness. It is subtle physically, but completely obvious emotionally. It is closeness of spirit. In this image, being portrayed is that idea of closeness. In the obvious light, he is simply laying, aimlessly on an empty baseball field in Pennsylvania. But the real meaning derives from still being there besides him despite his seeming aimlessness. That is intimacy.
