Edit Photo Details Tartan Day Parade - April 2014, NYC   #street #nyc #tartandayparade
I stumbled onto the Tartan Day Parade in midtown Manhattan a couple months ago. I saw the little boy from across the street and was immediately intrigued, so I worked my way over to the crowd and got as close as I could without making a scene. The contrast between the different generations of people in the crowd, the flag waving and the multiple layers - they all made for a fun scene to both be a part of and photograph.
