    The Ridley turtle reached the Pacific coast in Costa Rica to spawn. Sometimes baby turtles intersect with adult arriving to spawn, Wildlife Refuge Ostional, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, One of the fully protected places.

    I love what this photo makes me feel. As one adult turtle crawls up a beach (possibly to lay eggs), a newborn ventures into her new environment. The adult looks like she's making sure the baby will be OK (even though we know that's not the case). It's a story of renewal of life
