Aussie Day Fire Works, Perth
Australia Day fireworks in Perth Western Australia, although spectacular are the poor cousin of the eastern state fireworks, such as in Sydney. Fireworks are synchronised to music broadcast over the radio.
Australia Day is the official national day of Australia. Celebrated annually on 26 January, it marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of 11 British convict ships at Port Jackson, New South Wales. Celebrations reflect the diverse society and landscape of the nation.
