This is one of many images from a night game at Mohawk Sports Complex in Hamilton Ontario. It had rained all day and stopped raining just before game time. The lighting was horrible and after a few downs the player's jerseys were covered in mud. This was shot at a very high ISO and in order to conceal some of the noise/grain I decided to play around with some artistic filters just for the fun of it and this is one interpretation I came up with. It looks really nice as a 16x16 inch print.
