In this image, I tried to capture the essence of a sunlit aspen thicket rather than an exact image. This image was taken this year, in Glacier National Park I hoped the image would emphasize the "essence" of the thicket, of upward growth towards the sun in the summer. I set my Nikon D700 to shutter
