Grief at the Wailing Wall
This photo was taken in the common section of the Wailing Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem. Many people from all cultures and parts of the world come to the Wailing Wall to experience an intimate prayer time. Prayer notes have been gathered on this wall for years. This particular woman struck my eye because she prayed and cried as though no one was watching, and she was not even directly next to the wall.
