I picked a lovely September morning to catch a flight to see Mt. McKinley at Denali National Park. I later found out it was rare to catch the mountain without clouds obscuring the view. At 20,322 feet elevation, McKinley is still growing at .04 inches a year thanks to the Pacific and North American Plates colliding.
