Edit Photo Details The Longing to Be Present   #portrait
When you are behind the lens, you find yourself being separated physically from your subject by glass. But what happens when you break that boundary and enter the photo? Does it change the perspective for the viewer? Does it tell the story differently? Does it allow for an intimacy you would not otherwise have felt? I believe it does. In this photo, I wanted to capture the sense of longing of wanting to be in the moment, to be present instead of merely behind the lens.
