    WHAT MAKES THIS PHOTO GREAT?
    Composition 12
    Lighting 10
    Creativity 2
    Story 13

This is one of the strongest photojournalistic images from the assignment, where the photographer was obviously in a very intimate situation with a subject that has a story to tell yet requires maintaining his dignity. The composition is very effective, by placing the main subject in the bottom right corner of the frame, so while it's an every day moment it possesses a tender and timeless quality.
