My son made a beautiful necklace at summer camp and he wanted to show it off. The location was easy to find with perfect light on the driveway. He's starting to get shy about getting his portrait taken now that he's getting older so he covered his eyes with the necklace.

The lighting is very strong in this image, and the pose and use of the beads across his eyes makes for a mysterious moment. I love the impressionistic background, that further lends a surreal quality to this picture.
