Its not every day that you get a juvenile golden eagle to prey like this. I believe he's preying that his Mother or Father will find him. This is, this years eaglet, I believe he fledge a little to soon. By the looks of him, he was not injured. This is how I started my 4th of July out with my son and three other friends. What a special day it was to be able to get so close to him. Never in my life time has this ever happen with a wild golden eagle. For me, I will always remember this day.
