A bitter truth of our city, of our country. A thousand people in Kolkata and in other Metros of India somehow manage to live by the roadside. They have no shelter to spend the night, to protect themselves from the dust & sun and rain or the storm. They even do not have sufficient food to satisfy their appetite.
