    Edit Photo Details Fly on the Wall   #eyes #close #fly #macro #insect #wings #wilderness #science #fascinating
This is one of the most fortunate photographs that I have taken. I was looking for natural photography opportunities, and so my instinct was to climb out of the window onto the roof (I was hoping for birds). I only have a point-and-shoot, no special lenses. So when I noticed this fly on the wall, I literally had to take the picture from only a couple of inches away from the fly. It was a challenge, but I took a picture each time that I got closer. This is the closest one with the fly in focus.
