    I started looking for "my wilderness" in my backyard, looking at it more closely than I ever have before. My scrutiny paid off when ,following a butterfly, I discovered this tiny egg (less than an inch long) that had fallen from an unseen nest at an unknown time and and had been caught in the branches of the Thuja.
