Evening sun created soft light on a lake near Applebee Dome campsite in the Bugaboos provincial park. A good balance between recreation and wilderness exists in this provincial park. The hut and the campsite are managed by the Alpine Club of Canada. Visitors are not allowed to stay elsewhere, to avoid damaging the sensitive environment. The pristine lake provides water via a pump, and most of the fees go towards the removal of human waste, so that this place remains the paradise it is.
