My daily wilderness frequently appears to me in a macro world. I found this scene in my garage; I noticed a large House spider with a fly freshly trapped in its web. I grabbed my camera and managed to photograph the fly being caught and eaten. To my surprise the spider did not bite the fly with its venom but viciously ripped its head of before the fly had a chance to bite and damage the spider. It reminded me of a lion throttling its prey, like I was on safari; this was my macro-safari.
