Urban Moth
This just proves you don't have to go far to find wildlife. This skipper moth was "captured" outside our local CVS drugstore. There is a hedge of beautiful native Texas sage that was planted between the parking lot and the highway. Texas Sage is very drought tolerant and bloom is stimulated in these bushes when you have rain and it looks like our last much needed rain has brought them into bloom. The bees and the skippers were having a party the day I stopped by with camera in hand.
