Dew-Time
Heavy dew has left unusually large drops on the yellow lily, creating an even stronger contrast with the dark green stems behind it. The lily seems to be pushing its way through the diagonal stems, they lean to the left, the lily moves through to the right. It is wide open and inviting, they are squeezed together, perhaps using their strength to support its weight. And then there are the two buds at the upper edge of the lily, about to begin all over again.
