I love fresh vegetables from the garden. This tomato reminds me of my Aunt Kathy and Aunt Barb's garden, and the lure of the tomato plants each summer as I grew up. I would check them each day to see how red they were! This overhead view of a ripening tomato captures the anticipation of its ripening, the virtue of patience, and my childhood memories all into one image. The setting sun gave both yellow and blue hues on the green tomato, which I thought were beautiful.
