Edit Photo Details Puerto Rican Tody (Todus mexicanus)   #birds #nature #tody #puertorico
This colorful little bird was captured via mist net in Guanica, Puerto Rico during a long-term population study of Puerto Rican bird populations with the University of Missouri. One thing about them that is unique among birds is that individuals within the species have a wide variety of eye colors.
