Red-neck
This is a different type of wallaby found within central NSW. It is known as the Red-necked Wallaby because of the red patch of fur around the neck and the back of the shoulders.
This colouration is thought to help the wallaby blend into tall grass and plants as well as more arid regions with rocks and earth. These little guys can live up to 9 years in the wild and often live in small mobs of around 4-8 per mob, but can merge to form larger ones.
