Miners can also be seen along the ridge carrying the sulfur loads from the sulfur mine. The load weighs up to 10kilo and they do several trips a day up and down the crater. According to one of the miner spoken to the serious health risks these miners faced from the sulfur fumes out weight their pittance earning.
