    Edit Photo Details Moose step   #shoe #rubber #heel #1950
This rubber heel is on a 1950 shoe left behind by Bil Ake, at Kyrkö Mosse in Sweden. ELG means moose in Swedish, pronounced "Eljj". Rubber soles are something of a miracle if you have been walking on leather soles ( with or without calks) for the first 20 years. With rubber soles you get that springy step and sure grip of the King of the Forest.
