While exploring the backyards and hidden alleys of Newcastle, UK I discovered this little fellow in a very unlikely spot. It sat in the corner, perfectly motionless apart from its eyelids which opened and closed every once in a while. I can't be sure if it was hurt, breeding or simply exhausted but I did not want to give it a scare by touching it. The chalk that was painted around its spot made this sight even more special and somewhat mysterious.
