Bisti Dreams
The Bisti De-Na-Zin Wilderness consists of 45,000 acres of fantastic geomorphology of Cretaceous sediments deposited within the Western Interior Seaway that stretched across North America from the Arctic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico 70 million years ago. The area is replete with hoodoos, ventifacts and other strange rock features carved into these soft rocks by wind and water. Scattered about one can also find dinosaur bones and petrified trees eroded from these sediments.
