I waited patiently in the front seat of my canoe, with my camera focused intently on the juvenile Bald Eagle perched on a nearby washed up tree stump. He kept a close eye on us as we drifted closer and closer until he finally took flight. I was thrilled with the shot I captured from this wild encounter.
