5:30-- we even woke up before the park workers. A light fog still settled over Plitvice National Park, and, except for the four of us, there was not a human soul in sight. all the better, because during the afternoon, the park was teeming with tourists. In the early morning though, the wild was roaring with the sound of falling water, rushing downstream, uninhibited and alone. In places like these, it is easy to forget human existence and imagine a different Pandora.
