Edit Photo Details Gentle giants in misty forests   #forest #travel #nepal #mist
Eastern Hills of Nepal is the gate way to the Eastern range of great Himalaya. Located above 1.5 km from sea, the misty Eastern hills are covered with wet forests housing diverse flora and fauna. These giant pine trees stand strongly in hilly forests. This was captured at Eastern Hilly district Ilam on a rainy day. The light is obstructed and scattered by a cloud coming down due to downwind which has made the water drops at edges of leaves glistening and giving a heavenly blurry brightness.

A beautiful composition, lovely use of light in what appears to be fog. Great atmospherics. Conveys this sense of feeling what it is like there on this misty day.
