Riding an elephant in Thailand is a rit of passage for travelers around the world. I road my first elephant at the Santuary of Truth in Pattaya, Thailand. I was a bit nervous but the nerves did not go away as I was sliding off most of time time and trying to stay on for my life. Our gracious guide made riding an elephant look easy.
