The National Sewer Pipe Co. 1955 - 1980 before closing would dump the red terra cotta pipes into there back lot then fill with soil. The shore line erodes at a very high rate exposing the terra cotta pipes. The shore line is littered as you can see. The cobbles get mixed with the natural shale that is eroded from the bottom of the lake and swept up in storms to the shoreline.
