Houses still stand with walls of wood and roofs of zinc at Kampong Buangkok, the last remaining kampong in Singapore. I had a free Wednesday afternoon, so I decided to make a trip to this little time capsule. It truly seemed like the whole village was frozen in time in the 1950s, a sight even more amazing in modern Singapore.
