This lovely mom & daughter approached me on a street in Mumbai,India, gesturing with hand to mouth. I handed them a few rupees which they would NOT take. The daughter, who spoke English said the shops would not let them in, as they were beggars. I had them follow me to a small food shop where I told the owner to give them whatever they wanted…ALL they took was a small bag of rice & a small container of milk, nothing else!! They were charming & graciously posed for me, MY lucky day!
