Taken from a section of the Haiku Stairs (also referred to as the Stairway to Heaven) located on the Koolau mountain range, near Kaneohe on the island of Oahu. In this view you can see part of the stairs, part of the now decommissioned coast guard station (the reason the stairs were built), part of the city of Kaneohe, Kaneohe Bay, and Kaneohe Marine Air Base. My most difficult hike to date, but by far the best and most rewarding.
