    No one will ask you for a dime to make a phone call. No one has for 40 years or more. Payphones around this urban central area, are usually inoperative, but still stand. It looks like this one is the outside lottery ticket scratching station. I remember in the 70's/80's when it was a cool thing to find a payphone, you could drive up to to use. It was the first mobile phone.
