I just moved to Beirut, Lebanon, almost a year ago. The city is one big construction site and a concrete jungle. We often go for a walk to Baabda Forest, situated a little outside of the city of Beirut. There, we found the remnants of an old cogwheel railway which was supposed to bring people to the city. Nowadays, only small parts are still there to be seen, the rest is either stolen or overgrown. On this photo you can see it disappearing behind the curb, heading towards the city of Beirut.
