It was a lovely bright day of August in Central India. Just outside of a village, I found a flock of Common House Sparrow taking dips in the water and cleansing their feathers. This shot was taken during that routine and depicts the beautiful bird in a pose of a "Namaste", a traditional Indian greeting of folding both the hands to show respect.
