The Mighty Acacia Koa Tree
The Acacia Koa tree is native to Hawaii and this picture was taken on Maui's lava field shoreline. Very little soil protects the roots and yet it thrives. A person wearing turquoise is standing by the water; can you see how large the tree span is in comparison? Love the "Private Driveway-Keep Out" sign! What era and how many decades old is that?
